"Mosto" means good substance, density; an almost creamy consistency. This oil is produced with a blend of 100% Italian olives. ROI selects the best lots of olives and blends them expertly to ensure a high-level product and 100% Italian at a competitive price.
Olio Roi was born in 1900 in Badalucco, in the province of Imperia, and since then 5 generations have followed and have dedicated their lives to the production of extra virgin olive oil taggiasca, a Ligurian speciality par excellence.
The taggiasca olive is a small and juicy olive that grows on the steep terraced mountains of the province of Imperia; Roi proposes it pitted dry, pitted in EVO oil and with a kernel in brine.
Roi is not only tradition, but also innovation and experimentation: from this conception are born Italian extra virgin oils flavored with truffle extract, chili, lemon, rosemary and cannabis.
Starting from the oil, we then move on to preserves and sauces and typical regional sauces such as pesto, to end with special gourmet products such as beer with olive leaves and gin all'oliva taggiasca.
