The tarantello is a part of the tuna very valuable and rich in omega-3; similar to the fillet but softer, tasty as the ventresca but less fat. Its name comes from Taranto, a city with an ancient tradition in tuna fishing. You can eat as a dish or starter simply seasoned with a few drops of lemon or use as a basis to prepare very tasty sauces.
